The North Fork is Farm Country. Before we enjoyed vistas of vineyards, there were potato fields as far as the eye could see. Local farmers don't grow as many potatoes as they once did, but there are still plenty of farms, and farmstands, where you can find your favorite fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers grown locally by locals. In fact, many growers are a great direct resource for an event that showcases farm to fork sensibilities-and you won't find fresher flowers than those grown in your backyard.

Whether your wedding or special occasion is in a restaurant, under a tent, in a vineyard or on the beach, the classic beauty of a simple floral arrangement by Salt Air Farm is unsurpassed. Bring a country garden to your celebration with bouquets and centerpieces of wildflowers, hydrangeas, dahlias, sunflowers- even fresh fruit. Prudence Heston will prepare the arrangements to your specification using the flowers in season, so if you have a favorite, make sure your special occasion coincides with its season for blooming. You may also purchase the flowers from the farm to prepare your own arrangements. Prudence will even give you a few classes to hone your technique. She calls them simple country arrangements. I call them simply beautiful. Visit the website now to see how lovely they can be.
