Ferry
The Cross Sound Ferry provides service from New London, CT to Orient Point daily. Many New Englander's choose the ferry to avoid the drive through the NYC metropolitan area. After their "sea voyage" across LI Sound, they disembark at Orient Point, the furthest eastern point of the North Fork. Those originating from Long Island utilize the ferry for trips to Mystic, Ct. and the casinos! The ferries carry cars and foot passengers.
